Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Online Tutor position based in Greater Chennai Area. The Online Tutor will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, customizing teaching methods to cater to individual student needs, and evaluating student performance to provide constructive feedback. The role also involves maintaining records of student progress, communicating with guardians as needed, and creating a supportive, nurturing, and interactive learning environment. Tutors should adapt their teaching styles to suit diverse learning preferences, align with various international curricula, and motivate students to achieve their academic goals.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in teaching subjects within Cambridge IGCSE, IBDP, EDEXCEL, GCSE, OCR, AQA, AP & SAT curricula
- Strong command of instructional design, lesson planning, and effective communication skills
- Ability to assess student progress through evaluative and diagnostic techniques
- Experience with digital tools and e-learning platforms to facilitate online teaching
- Demonstrated commitment to fostering an engaging and supportive academic environment
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; teaching certifications are a plus
- Experience in tutoring or teaching is highly preferred
