Role Description The Online Tutor is a work from home role responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to learners across various academic levels and exam preparation courses. Day-to-day tasks include conducting recorded online tutoring sessions, explaining complex concepts in a clear and structured manner, and guiding learners through curated digital content and practice materials. The role also involves collaborating with content creators to align courses, using online tools and platforms to manage classes, and maintaining timely communication with learners and the internal team.
Qualifications
- Strong subject-matter expertise in one or more relevant domains (e.g., school curriculum, UG/PG courses, or competitive exams such as UGC NET, UPSC, CUET, NEET, SAT, ACT, GMAT, GRE).
- Proficiency in online teaching tools and learning management systems, with the ability to conduct interactive virtual classes and manage digital resources.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including clear explanation of concepts, active listening, and adaptive teaching based on learner needs.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle schedules, and course requirements in a remote environment.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any relevant academic discipline; prior online tutoring or teaching experience is highly desirable. Freshers are welcome.
- Comfort working independently and collaboratively in a remote setting, with a reliable internet connection and familiarity with digital collaboration tools.
