Role Description
This is a part-time remote role for an Online Scratch/Web Development Tutor. The tutor will be responsible for teaching coding classes to students, leading interactive and engaging online sessions, and adapting teaching methods based on individual learning needs. The role includes assisting students in solving technical problems, and fostering creativity and enthusiasm for coding in students. Continuous interaction with students and responding to their questions will also be a key responsibility.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Writing skills to effectively explain coding concepts and engage with students.
- Proven Analytical and Research skills to troubleshoot and develop effective teaching methods.
- Experience in Training and mentoring students, ideally in coding or technological disciplines.
- Passion for teaching and the ability to connect with learners of different ages and skill levels.
- Knowledge of Scratch programming and/or web development principles is required.
- Familiarity with online teaching platforms and tools is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Education, or a related field is preferred.
