Role Description
This is a part-time remote role for an Online Scratch Tutor (Jr, L1,2,3). The tutor will deliver interactive and engaging online coding sessions using Scratch to students aged 5 to 17. Responsibilities include conducting classes, adapting teaching techniques to meet individual student needs, and encouraging creativity and critical thinking among learners. Tutors will also provide progress feedback to students and, when applicable, their guardians.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills, with the ability to engage with young learners and convey concepts clearly.
- Analytical Skills and Research aptitude to evaluate student needs and adapt teaching methods effectively.
- Proficiency in Writing and creating lesson plans, assignments, and instructional materials.
- Experience in Training, mentoring, or working with children in an educational setting.
- Familiarity with Scratch programming and a passion for teaching coding to young students.
- Patience, creativity, and an ability to inspire curiosity in children.
- Access to a reliable computer and internet connection for remote teaching.
