Role Description
This is a part-time, remote role for an Online Maths Tutor for the following shifts:
US: 2:30AM to 7:30AM
UK: 9:30PM to 2:30AM.
The Online Maths Tutor will be responsible for conducting live, interactive sessions to teach and engage students in mathematics. Daily tasks include delivering well-prepared lessons, assisting students in understanding concepts, answering questions, and providing personalized guidance to promote effective learning. The role may also involve preparing lesson plans and assessments aligned with the curriculum.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Mathematics, with expertise in Algebra and related concepts
- Experience in Online Tutoring and delivering interactive virtual lessons
- Effective Communication and Tutoring skills, with the ability to engage students of varying skill levels and ages
- Comfortable with the abovementioned shift timings
- Students are NOT eligible for this role
- Passion for teaching and creating interactive learning experiences
- Relevant qualifications in Mathematics, Education, or related fields are an advantage
- Flexibility to work across multiple shifts to accommodate different time zones
