Role Description
This is a part-time, remote position for an Online Math Tutor. The tutor will design and deliver interactive online math lessons tailored to the needs of students between the ages of 5 to 17. Responsibilities include teaching concepts such as algebra, guiding students through problem-solving, providing feedback, and addressing individual learner challenges during live virtual sessions. Tutors will also track progress and create an enriching online learning experience.
Qualifications
- Strong foundational knowledge in Mathematics, with expertise in Algebra
- Experience in Online Tutoring and familiarity with virtual teaching platforms
- Proficient communication and Tutoring skills to effectively connect with students
- Ability to engage and motivate young learners in a virtual classroom
- Previous teaching or tutoring experience is preferred
- A passion for education and a strong sense of patience and adaptability
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field is a plus
