Role Description
This part-time remote role of Online Math Mentor involves teaching and mentoring students in mathematics through interactive online sessions. Responsibilities include creating and delivering engaging lesson plans, fostering a supportive learning environment, and assessing student progress. The mentor will also provide personalized guidance to help students strengthen their understanding of mathematical concepts.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of mathematics and problem-solving abilities
- Experience in online teaching, lesson planning, and mentoring students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and support young learners
- Familiarity with student-centered teaching methodologies
- Proficiency in using virtual tools and platforms for remote education
- Passion for education and helping students build confidence in mathematics
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
