Role Description
This is a part-time remote role for an Online Math Teacher. The teacher will design and deliver engaging math lessons tailored for students aged 5 to 17. Responsibilities include creating lesson plans, developing curriculum, and providing a supportive and interactive virtual learning environment. The teacher will assess student progress, adapt teaching methods as needed, and encourage a love for mathematics in young learners.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and expertise in Mathematics and Mathematics Education
- Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development
- Experience as a Qualified Teacher or equivalent teaching experience in a relevant subject
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with young learners in an online environment
- Comfort in using digital tools and platforms for virtual teaching
- Flexibility, patience, and a passion for teaching and inspiring students
- Teaching certification or degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field is a plus
