Role Description
This is a part-time, remote position for an Online Coding Tutor. The tutor will be responsible for conducting interactive and student-focused online coding classes for children, monitoring their progress, and customizing lesson plans to meet individual learning goals. Additional responsibilities may include providing feedback to students, addressing their queries, and collaborating with other team members to improve course content and delivery.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or Scratch
- Experience in teaching or mentoring students, preferably in a virtual environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage young learners
- Knowledge of curriculum planning and the ability to tailor content to varying learning levels
- Passion for coding and teaching, with an enthusiastic and patient approach
- Access to a computer with a reliable internet connection for remote work
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Education, or a related field is preferred
- Prior experience working with children is highly advantageous
