Role Overview
Lovely Professional University is seeking a highly experienced and visionary Online Admissions Leader to drive strategy, execution, and growth of digital student enrolment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership & Planning
Define and implement a comprehensive online admissions strategy aligned with institutional growth goals.
Drive long-term planning for digital student acquisition across domestic and international markets.
Establish scalable systems and frameworks to optimize application-to-enrollment conversion.
2. Online Admissions Operations
Lead end-to-end online admissions lifecycle – inquiry generation, application processing, counseling, conversion, and enrollment.
Ensure seamless coordination between marketing, admissions, IT, and academic teams.
Oversee CRM platforms, admission portals, and automation tools for efficiency and accuracy.
3. Team Leadership & Capability Building
Lead and mentor a large team of admissions managers, counselors, and operations staff.
Build a high-performance culture with clear KPIs, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Drive hiring, training, and development initiatives for the admissions team.
4. Digital Funnel Optimization
Monitor and improve the student acquisition funnel from lead generation to final enrollment.
Analyze data to identify drop-offs and implement corrective strategies.
Collaborate with digital marketing teams to enhance lead quality and conversion rates.
5. Data Analytics & Reporting
Utilize data-driven insights to track admissions performance and ROI.
Develop dashboards and MIS reports for leadership review.
Forecast admissions trends and plan capacity accordingly.
6. Technology & Process Innovation
Drive adoption of advanced tools such as CRM systems, AI-based chatbots, and automation platforms.
Continuously improve user experience across online admission platforms.
Ensure compliance with data privacy and institutional policies.
7. Stakeholder Management
Collaborate with senior leadership to align admissions strategies with organizational objectives.
Engage with academic departments to understand program-specific enrollment needs.
Represent the university in strategic discussions related to admissions growth.
Key Requirements
7–10 years of experience exclusively in Online Admissions / Digital Enrollment.
Proven leadership experience managing large teams and high-volume admissions operations.
Strong expertise in CRM systems, digital funnels, and conversion optimization.
Demonstrated success in scaling online admissions for reputed institutions or EdTech platforms.
