Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site One-Year Surgical Fellowship position located in Bengaluru. As a Surgical Fellow at Himas Hospital, you will work closely with experienced surgeons, assisting in an array of surgical procedures, including laparoscopic surgeries in areas such as Gastroenterology, Urology, and Oncology. Responsibilities include preoperative and postoperative care, case discussions, participation in clinical research or academic presentations, and gaining hands-on experience under the supervision of senior professionals.
Qualifications
- Clinical expertise in surgical techniques, with an emphasis on laparoscopic procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to perform preoperative evaluations, create treatment plans, and manage postoperative care
- Commitment to learning and professional development in advanced surgical methods
- Completion of MBBS and relevant surgery residency; valid license to practice in India
- Interest or experience in Gastroenterology, Urology, or Oncology surgery is a plus
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on patient safety and quality of care
