Employee Relations & Consultant Engagement Specialist
Location: 100% Remote
Employment Type: Full-Time
About the Role
- Peterson Technology Partners (PTP) is looking for an experienced Employee Relations & Consultant Engagement Specialist to support and strengthen relationships with our consultants throughout their journey with PTP.
- This role is ideal for someone with 5+ years of experience in consultant engagement, employee relations, onboarding, or staffing operations who understands the unique needs of consultants working across client environments.
- You'll own key parts of the consultant lifecycle—from onboarding and documentation to payroll, timesheets, engagement, retention, and resolving consultant/client concerns.
What You'll Do
- Manage the consultant lifecycle from offer acceptance through onboarding and ongoing engagement
- Handle onboarding paperwork, employment documentation, compliance requirements, and related processes
- Support consultants with payroll, timesheets, benefits, and employment-related questions
- Build strong relationships with consultants and serve as a trusted point of contact
- Proactively identify engagement and retention risks and take action to address them
- Manage and resolve consultant/client conflicts, workplace concerns, and escalations
- Partner with recruiting, sales, delivery, and internal HR teams to ensure a smooth consultant experience
- Conduct regular consultant check-ins and gather feedback
- Support consultant retention and improve overall engagement and satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records and ensure timely completion of required documentation
- Help identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in consultant engagement, employee relations, staffing operations, HR, or a similar role
- Experience working in a U.S. staffing or consulting organization strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of consultant onboarding, payroll, timesheets, and employment processes
- Proven experience handling employee/client concerns and conflict resolution
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a 100% remote environment
- Comfortable handling sensitive and confidential employee matters
- Strong problem-solving skills with a people-first approach
