About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front-End Engineer for a Senior Member of Technical Staff role, with 8 to 12 years of expertise in Angular, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related technologies. In this role, you will take end-to-end ownership of front-end architecture and development, driving scalable and user-centric web applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and play a key role in influencing technical decisions, engineering practices, and overall product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and own responsive, high-performance web applications using Angular, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Lead front-end architecture decisions and contribute to overall system design.
• Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and product stakeholders to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Drive performance optimization, scalability, and maintainability of applications.
• Write clean, well-structured, and reusable code aligned with engineering standards.
• Ensure cross-platform, cross-browser, and device compatibility.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor junior and mid-level developers.
• Proactively identify technical challenges and drive solutions with minimal supervision.
• Leverage modern AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, code quality, and development speed.
• Stay current with evolving front-end technologies and introduce improvements where relevant.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• 8 to 12 years of strong experience in front-end development with deep expertise in Angular (v16+ preferred).
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Hands-on experience with CSS preprocessors (SASS, LESS) and frameworks like Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS.
• Strong understanding of web performance, scalability, and responsive design principles.
• Experience integrating with RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Proficiency with version control systems such as Git.
• Experience using AI-powered developer tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar, to assist in coding, debugging, documentation, and productivity improvements.
• Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated code and ensure adherence to security and quality standards.
• Proven ability to take ownership and drive features independently.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with front-end testing frameworks (Jasmine, Karma, Jest, Vitest, Cypress, etc.).
• Familiarity with build tools like Webpack or similar.
• Exposure to accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Experience with Selenium or similar tools for end-to-end testing.
• Exposure to AI-driven workflows, prompt engineering, or integrating AI capabilities into developer workflows or products.

This role offers a balanced arrangement, with the expectation of working 3 days a week in our local office and the flexibility to work from home for the remaining days. It is essential that you reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the office location for the in-office workdays.
Travel Expectations: 20% of travel Domestic/International only if business demands.
