Software Engineer I

Work as part of a team to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software Participate in discussions and estimations required for product release planning Collaborate with software quality engineers in all phases of testing Assist with code reviews for fellow team members, as required Create unit tests to help ensure code quality throughout the application's life cycle Understand how Omnicell solutions meet our customers' needs Basic understanding of software development principles Analytical and problem-solving skills Good interpersonal communication skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics or a related field Knowledge of containerization, web APIs (REST), data modelling, and database management systems Experience in C# and the .NET Framework Experience with a microservices architecture Experience in Angular 4 or above Building event-driven architectures using messaging systems/service bus, such as Kafka or RabbitMQ Working experience with JavaScript Frameworks (React, Angular, JQuery) Deploying applications in the public cloud using technologies like Azure, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes Healthcare Industry Experience Agile/Scrum software development lifecycle management Understanding of Internationalization / Localization Understanding of Inventory / warehouse management Object oriented analysis, design, and programming (OOAD, OOP) Using design and refactoring patterns
