Position Description:

Olink’s products for exploratory proteomics enable researchers to identify biomarkers for a range of diseases and applications, enabling a better understanding of how to screen, diagnose and stratify diseases better. These products are in a leadership position and the product management team are tasked to continue solving our customers' problems and helping the company scale in the market. As a product manager in this team you would take ownership for defining and guiding the development of products including Olink Reveal and others in development, from inception to launch. Your work would include product expansion and lifecycle management, post-launch activities and analysis, and market research including customer feedback and competitive analyses. You would work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Support, Marketing, and Sales to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality products that meets customer needs, achieves business objectives, and contributes to the company’s revenue targets.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy: Develop and communicate a clear and compelling product vision and strategy in line with the company's overall product portfolio and company goals.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research and analysis to identify product personas, customer needs, market trends, market segmentation and competitive landscape.
  • Product Roadmap: Create and maintain a product roadmap that outlines the product's development timeline and key milestones.
  • Requirements Definition: Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize product features and requirements. Stratify the priority of identified features based on business / strategic value.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Data Science, Quality Assurance, Support, and Marketing, Sales, and Operations to ensure the successful execution of the product roadmap.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure quality assurance processes are in place and followed by the relevant teams, such as Supply Chain.
  • Launch and Go-to-Market: Define the product solution story. Plan and execute product launches, including trainings, marketing strategies, sales enablement, and customer support.
  • Feedback Management: Gather and analyze user feedback and usage data to make data-driven decisions for product improvements.
  • Financial: Responsible for defining pricing strategy and implementation. Monitor revenue and optimize the value the product brings to the overall portfolio.
  • Post-Launch Product Lifecycle Management: Assess the product's performance and make decisions regarding updates, enhancements, or end-of-life strategies.


Qualifications/Skills:

  • Relevant degree in a related field, (molecular biology, biochemistry, or a related field)
  • Certification in Product Management.
  • At least 5 years of experience in product management or other relevant customer-facing experience is required.
  • Hands-on experience with proteomics or genomics
  • Strong understanding of NGS technologies (e.g., sequencing platforms, library prep, data analysis) and proteomics applications.
  • Full professional proficiency in English is required

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize market data and technical insights into actionable strategies.

Unfortunately, we are not able to assist with relocation or visa sponsorships for this role. So, you need to already be eligible to work in the country where you are located. This role can be placed in one of the following European countries: Sweden, the Netherlands, Germany, France, UK, Spain, Denmark, Belgium or Italy. We prefer placing this role in Sweden in the Uppsala/Stockholm region.
