Summary: The general purpose of this position is to coordinate and actively participate in the portioning and racking of the products we produce. Carries out the responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. To facilitate the efficient operation of formulating sausage products through organization and intervention of formulation machines and line workers, and all aspects of Departmental functions, while maintaining Quality standards.
Responsibilities/Duties: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Minimum expectations include but are not limited to:
- Assuring minimum and maximum weight and length restrictions are observed.
- Responsible for product quality, workmanship, and methods applications resulting in above standard economical manufacturing costs and general line administration.
- The individual should possess the ability to bend, twist, lift, and possess good hand dexterity.
- Take responsibility in your work area to produce a safe and quality food product. Report all food safety and quality related problems to your supervisor, manager, or to the QA department to initiate immediate action.
Supervisory Responsibility: No
