As a graduate Engineer in Technology Governance, you will play a crucial role in analyzing, improving, and ensuring the integrity of the OKX platform, which serves millions of daily active users. You will work cross-functionally with design, product, and other engineering teams to identify customer needs, and ship high-quality new features through fast iterations. This is an opportunity to learn the full life cycle of crypto platforms including pro/retail trading, asset management, and wallet.

About The Team

The Technology Governance team is responsible for managing and mitigating data security risks posed within the organization. To identify the data security risks and enhance the company's security management level, this team is responsible for the construction of the company's data security management system, defining the identification of security risks, and driving the implementation of security governance solutions. This team is also accountable for compiling company data security management regulations/polices, optimising data security management processes, and operating the internal data governance platform.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Be part of a global team to analyze and improve business and technology processes that support our cutting-edge crypto-linked products.
• Conduct assurance reviews to assess the effectiveness of IT/ security controls against internal standards, industry best-practice and regulatory requirements.
• Create and maintain solutions that uphold continuous compliance with industry security standards and regulations (ISO27001, SOC 1/2, NIST, CIS benchmarks, SOX, etc.).
• Analyze and assess security and compliance gaps identified by internal and external audits.
• Develop and maintain clear documentation for processes, policies, and system configurations to support governance and compliance initiatives.
• Stay on top of industry trends in fintech, compliance, and technology to drive continuous improvement of our capabilities.

What We Look For In You

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions.
• Strong foundational knowledge of IT systems, databases, and general software development principles.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity, cloud security, IT infrastructure, and related IT operational processes is a plus.
• Passionate about the latest technology and curious to learn all aspects of trading products in financial and crypto markets.
• A pro-active team player that embodies a growth mindset, with strong communication skills to articulate complex concepts and ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
