About the role
As a Technical Account Manager (TAM) at Okta, you will be responsible for providing high-quality technical support, proactive guidance, and strategic advisory services to our customers. Your primary focus will be to ensure the successful implementation and adoption of Okta's Identity and Access Management solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers, building strong relationships and driving successful outcomes
- Provide expert-level technical support and guidance to resolve complex issues and ensure seamless operations
- Proactively identify and address potential challenges, providing strategic recommendations and solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Professional Services, Product) to deliver exceptional customer experiences
- Continuously expand your technical knowledge and stay up-to-date with Okta's product roadmap and industry trends
- Advocate for customer needs and provide feedback to Okta's product teams to enhance the platform
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a technical support or customer-facing role, preferably in the enterprise software industry
- Demonstrated expertise in identity and access management, enterprise IT infrastructure, and cloud technologies
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly understand and resolve complex technical issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and cross-functional teams
- Proactive, service-oriented mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
- Willingness to travel up to 25% to meet with customers on-site when necessary
