Software Engineer, Backend

As a Software Engineer, Backend at Okta, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the backend systems that power our identity and access management platform. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and reliable software that meets the needs of our customers. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure backend systems and services - Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, architecture design, coding, testing, and deployment - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and a great user experience - Continuously improve code quality, performance, and reliability through best practices and automation - Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, trends, and industry standards
