Senior SWE

Okta is growing rapidly and looking for experienced Senior Software Engineers to join our team. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our customers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, identify technical solutions, and deliver features that delight our users. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop scalable, maintainable, and secure software systems - Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, architecture design, coding, testing, and deployment - Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions - Mentor and guide junior engineers, sharing your expertise and knowledge - Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, tools, and best practices in software engineering Required Skills: - 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong background in Python, Go, DevOps, Terraform, CI/CD, and other relevant technologies - Proficient in object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms - Experience in building and deploying scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems - Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) - Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills - Strong communication and collaboration skills
