Responsibilities:
Create business reports that provide insights
Translate business logic into technical reporting specifications
Accurately analyze and collect data for various types of business reports
Communicate the results of data analysis in visual / written / verbal form to managers.
Use data visualization techniques effectively to present information.
Monitor reports for required enhancements over time as well as spotting trends.
Support various departments with required analyses to help meet their respective objectives.
Skills:
Proficiency with Microsoft SQL to fetch data from databases for the reports.
Very strong proficiency with Business Intelligence and Visualization tools especially Power BI / DAX
Very strong data visualization skills with the ability to understand and choose the right visualization given the data / insights to be communicated in the business context.
Excellent critical thinking skills to help solve business problems and make decisions
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Tendency to pay close attention to small details that could impact results.
General knowledge of business operations, objectives, strategies, process and information flow.
