Kapital Data is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior Technical Consultant to lead
the implementation, enhancement, and automation of our Oracle Fusion Supply Chain
Management (SCM) integrations. In this role, you will be the core technical driver for
connecting and optimizing our Inventory Management and Order Management modules.
The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and BI
Publisher, has a proven track record of designing robust API-driven architectures, and
thrives on exploring Oracle technical documentation to solve complex enterprise integration
challenges.
Key Responsibilities
Design ; Develop Integrations: Architect, build, and maintain end-to-end real-time
and batch integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) to connect Oracle Fusion
SCM (Inventory & Order Management) with upstream/downstream enterprise
applications.
Custom Reporting & Extracts: Develop complex BI Publisher reports, RTF
templates, eText templates, and financial/operational data extracts to support
business process automation.
API Architecture & Discovery: Review, analyse, and map complex data structures
using Oracle REST and SOAP APIs. Actively research Oracle technical
documentation to independently Client and implement optimal API endpoints.
Testing & Quality Assurance: Validate and debug integration payloads, mappings,
and endpoints using testing tools like Postman and SoapUI.
Database Optimization: Write and optimize SQL queries and PL/SQL blocks to
extract data, validate integration staging tables, and troubleshoot data discrepancies.
Enhancements & Support: Monitor active integration pipelines, identify
performance bottlenecks, and implement proactive enhancements to minimize
integration failures.
Technical Qualifications
Must-Have Experience:
Experience: Minimum 7+ years of hands-on technical experience in Oracle Fusion
SCM implementations and integration development.
Core Modules: Strong functional and technical understanding of Oracle Fusion
Inventory Management and Order Management modules and their respective data
models.
Integration Middleware: 7+ years of extensive experience building connections,
orchestrations, and file-based data imports (FBDI) using Oracle Integration Cloud
(OIC).
Reporting: Proficient in developing BI Publisher reports, data models, and complex
SQL queries.
APIs & Protocols: Deep expertise in working with REST and SOAP APIs (payload
structure, authentication, pagination, and error handling).
Testing Tools: High proficiency with Postman and SoapUI for API discovery and
testing.
Database Skills: Strong foundational knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL for data
analysis and verification.
Preferred / Optional Qualifications:
Technical or functional familiarity with Oracle Warehouse Management Cloud (LGF)
Application.
Experience handling warehouse-related API contracts and messaging (e.g., inventory
synchronization, receiving, and shipping confirmations).
