Keep production moving as a Material Handler II by safely handling materials across the facility using forklifts, combi-lifts, and overhead cranes. This role ensures materials are staged correctly, job specifications are verified, and trucks are loaded and unloaded accurately. You’ll maintain precise records in Epicor while supporting inventory control and production flow. Working independently, you’ll collaborate with logistics and production teams to keep operations running smoothly—all while maintaining a strong focus on safety and efficiency.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Keep materials moving safely and efficiently using forklifts, cranes, combi-lifts, and other industrial equipment.
- Support production and shipping by staging, transporting, and organizing materials across the facility.
- Ensure accuracy at every step by verifying counts, specifications, and inventory data in Epicor.
- Coordinate loading and unloading operations with drivers and internal teams to maintain smooth logistics flow.
- Support multiple areas—including shipping, receiving, coil handling, and fabrication—based on operational needs.
- Use RF scanning and digital systems to track materials and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Assist with facility layout changes and equipment movement to support production efficiency.
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow strict safety procedures.
- Collaborate across shifts and departments to meet production demands.
- Take part in training, cross-training, and supporting new team members.
EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE, AND PROFICIENCIES: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Candidates must have a minimum of one year of experience operating overhead cranes and tow motors in a production or warehouse setting. Two or more years of experience in a steel or aluminum manufacturing environment is preferred. Candidates must be able to read standard and metric tape measures, perform basic math operations, and safely use equipment.
