What You Need to Know about the Heirloom Shop Coordinator  Role: 

  • This is a full-time role out of our Carrolton Retail Shop location. 
  • Hours are: 8:30am-5pm.

What we are looking for
As the Heirloom Shop Coordinator, the person filling this position is responsible for aiding in the daily operation of the resale shop. This includes all aspects of facilitating a safe and healthy working and shopping environment for customers, volunteers and staff; providing excellent customer service, building brand awareness and educating shop customers about Ohio’s Hospice services. It also includes creating a monthly work schedule for staff, making bank deposits, ordering supplies as needed and determining monthly sales. The coordinator uplifts team members, develops positive consumer relationships, maximizes daily sales, and increases sales transactions. He or she speaks positively about Ohio’s Hospice to raise awareness for the mission and encourages repeat sales and donations. The coordinator consistently operates with the highest level of professionalism to uphold store standards and directly reports to the Heirloom Shop Manager.

Qualifications for Heirloom Shop Coordinator: 

  • Minimum of 5 years’ business experience; preferably in a retail setting as a store clerk or store supervisor
  • High School Diploma or GED; college courses in retail merchandising and/or management a plus
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of initiative/self-starter
  • Ability to accurately and efficiently operate cash registers while following cash handling procedures
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks at hand
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Valid Ohio Driver's License with Safe Driving Record
  • State Minimum Automobile Insurance Coverage
