Qualification: Graduate in Civil Engg / Structural Engg desired, Post Graduate in Structural Engg / Offshore Structure is preferable.

Experience: 15 to 20 years with Experience in Offshore Engineering Design.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

Conversant with SACS software for analysis and design of offshore structures.

Hands-on Experience In Performing

i) Inplace / Inservice / Preservice analysis of fixed offshore platform jackets and topsides.

ii) Analysis of FPSO topside modules.

Additional experience in the following will be an added advantage:

i) Fatigue analysis, seismic analysis, on-bottom stability, flotation, and upending for jackets/platforms.

ii) Use of FEM software such as ANSYS and ABAQUS.

Capable of performing structural analysis of offshore structures and providing inputs to structural modelers/drafting team.

Able To

i) Check 3D models and drawings for engineering aspects using NAVISWORKS.

ii) Prepare calculation reports, MTO, BOQ, and BOM.

iii) Provide inputs for the weight control report.

iv) Interact with other disciplines for design development.

Should Be Familiar With

• Structural material grades,
• Fabrication aspects,
• Structural detailing.
