Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and regularly update databases related to Flight Crew licenses, training records, qualifications, and Trainer qualifications and upgrades, including monitoring and generating expiry reports.
- Ensure implementation of Flight Crew training in strict adherence to DGCA regulations and Akasa Air–defined policies and procedures.
- Maintain individual personnel files and complete training records of all pilots ensuring secure storage and regulatory compliance of all licensing documentation.
- Monitor and verify the accuracy and validity of medical records of flight crew.
- Conduct document verification, including e-GCA verification of pilot training records (IR, PPC, etc.) for submission to DGCA and follow up on license renewals.
- Liaise internally with relevant departments to ensure consistent application of safety procedures for pilots and cabin crew, and facilitate updates to related documentation, policies, and procedures as required.
- Coordinate and liaise with DGCA Licensing authorities for Flight Crew license applications, renewals, and related regulatory matters.
- Support audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews by ensuring availability and accuracy of training and licensing records.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Manager – Training & Licensing and/or Deputy General Manager – Flight Operations Training.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of DGCA regulations related to Flight Crew Training and Licensing
- High level of accuracy in documentation, record keeping, and compliance tracking
- Familiarity with e-GCA processes and DGCA submission requirements
- Effective coordination and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and regulatory requirements
Educational & Experience Requirements
- Graduate in any discipline (Aviation-related qualification preferred)
- Prior experience in Flight Operations Training, Licensing, or Regulatory Compliance preferred
- Working knowledge of airline training systems and regulatory documentation standards
