Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Officer/Sr. Officer/Executive/Sr. Executive based in Mumbai.
- Preparation and timely filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-6, GSTR-9/
- (9C, ITC-04, GST TDS & TCS etc.)
- Reconciliation of GSTR-2B with Purchase Register and identification of mismatches
- Monitoring and ensuring proper Input Tax Credit (ITC) eligibility and compliance
- Follow-up with vendors for missing invoices / non-reflection in GSTR-2B
- Verification of GST invoices (GSTIN, HSN/SAC, tax rates, place of supply)
- Handling E-invoicing (IRN generation) and E-way bill processes and reconciliation.
- Monthly reconciliation of:
- Sales (Books) vs GSTR-1
- GSTR-1 vs GSTR-3B
- Import Vs ICEGATE
- RCM Vs GSTR-2B
- ISD Vs GSTR-2B
- Preparation GST-related accounting JV entries (RCM, ITC booking, reversals)
- Ensuring correct tax codes in ERP (SAP preferred)
- Assisting in GST audits, assessments, and notice handling
- Preparation of MIS reports and GST working for management
- Coordination with internal teams (Purchase, Sales, Stores, Accounts)
- Ensuring compliance with GST laws and timely payment of taxes
- Maintaining proper documentation and records as per GST requirements
Qualifications
Experience : 2 to 3 Years in Manufacturing of pharma/Other Industries.
