About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled
Officer - Data Support who will play a critical role in supporting the regulatory reporting and related daily operational deliverables. This role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on experience in MIS/Reporting, excellent analytical abilities, and the capability to handle daily issue resolution while guiding analysts with best practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end reporting processes, including data extraction, transformation, and presentation.
- Ensure overnight MIS jobs, and dashboards run successfully; troubleshoot failures in SQL/Python.
- Interact with audit, compliance, regulatory, operations teams to clarify requests.
- Effective management of business-critical support requests during late evenings / early mornings / holidays (beyond working hours)
- Hands-on debugging when issues arise in Python scripts, SQL queries, or dashboards.
Qualification & Experience
Bachelor's degree (Preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, quant or related field but not mandatory).
1-2 years of relevant work experience in automated reporting and MIS
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and extracting data.
- Strong experience in Python for data processing and automation.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to fix issues related to data and reports.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with functional leads.
- Prior exposure to tech/data support in odd working hours.
- Prior experience of working in BFSI/NBFC/Lending industry is plus.
- Knowledge of regulatory reporting and compliance is plus.
- Knowledge of BI tools (Tableau / PowerBI) is plus
