Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Officer – Inbound Phone Banking role based in Koramangala. The role involves handling inbound customer calls, resolving queries related to accounts, transactions, and banking products, and providing accurate information in a clear and professional manner. The officer will log and track customer interactions in the bank’s systems, escalate issues as needed, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely resolution. Daily responsibilities include promoting appropriate banking products during service calls, adhering to call quality and compliance guidelines, and meeting defined service level and productivity targets. The role also requires maintaining confidentiality of customer data and contributing to a positive and supportive team environment.
Qualifications
- Strong Phone Banking and Customer Service skills, with the ability to manage high volumes of inbound calls professionally.
- Customer Support and Communication skills to understand needs, clarify issues, and provide clear, respectful responses.
- Sales and cross-selling abilities to identify customer needs and suggest suitable banking products and services.
- Basic knowledge of retail banking products, processes, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in English and relevant regional languages; strong listening and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment with attention to accuracy and detail.
- Minimum educational qualification: Graduate in any discipline or equivalent; prior experience in a call center or banking contact center is an advantage.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays, as per business requirements.
