A Home Solutions Executive at Havells is primarily a sales and consulting role focused on the company’s high-growth segments: Smart Home Automation, Lighting, and Premium Home Appliances.
The goal of this role is to provide a "one-stop" consulting experience for premium customers (homeowners, architects, and builders), moving them from individual product purchases to integrated home solutions.
### Key Responsibilities
• Customer Consultation & Advisory: Act as a "Havells Home Advisor," helping customers choose the right products for their space, including smart lighting, modular switches, and water/air purification systems.
• Lead Generation & Conversion: Identify and target potential clients through cold calling, networking, and following up on inquiries from Havells Experience Centers or the "Havells One" app.
• Technical Sales Support: Demonstrate the features of IoT-enabled devices (like the Novante IOT washers or smart lighting) and explain how they integrate into a centralized home system.
• Project Coordination: Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and electrical contractors to ensure Havells products are specified in the early stages of home construction or renovation.
• Site Visits & Layout Design: Conduct site visits to assess requirements and coordinate with the design team to provide free layout designs and customized product solutions.
• Sales Operations: Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and manage the documentation process from billing to installation coordination.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education: Graduate in any stream (B.Com/BBA/B.Sc). A Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering is a significant advantage.
Experience: 2–5 years of experience in direct sales, preferably in building materials, consumer durables, or home automation.
Technical Savvy: Understanding of home networking, IoT (Internet of Things), and basic electrical circuitry.
Communication: Fluent in the local language and English; must possess strong presentation skills.
Mobility: Must possess a two-wheeler and a valid driving license for frequent site visits.
Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Sales Targets: Achievement of monthly and quarterly revenue goals for the premium segment.
Conversion Rate: Percentage of leads converted from site visits to final billing.
Network Growth: Number of new architects and designers onboarded into the Havells influencer program.
