About the role

Ocular is looking for a Founding Machine Learning Engineer to work directly with the Founders to design and develop Foundational AI models for production. Your core work at Ocular will include: Finding the latest papers, turning them into useful products, and publishing them on Ocular. Experimenting with and adapting the latest ML technologies to fit into existing tech stack Deploying, Training and Fine Tuning Large Language Models, ML and AI Models. Developing model training infrastructure so that Ocular users can train their own LoRAs to fine-tune open-source models to fit their needs. Working directly with the founders and customers to shape the product direction and engineering strategy This is a high agency role with a lot of ambiguity as a part of an early stage startup. You will be reporting directly to the Founders.
