🧾 Role Overview
Mars is looking for a dynamic Sales Officer to drive market execution, distributor engagement, and sales performance across assigned territories.
This role involves managing end-to-end territory operations, building strong distributor relationships, and leading frontline sales associates (FSAs) to achieve business objectives.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
Market Functions

Plan and manage territory to ensure optimal coverage, infrastructure, and service levels

Identify and capitalize on market opportunities by building strong business cases

Develop and maintain long-term relationships with distributors
-
Manage and optimize trade spends to maximize ROI
-
Ensure strong in-store visibility and execution as per Mars standards
👥 People Management
-
Lead, monitor, and motivate the FSA (Field Sales Associate) team
-
Drive performance using sales tools and incentive programs
-
Coach and train FSAs on Mars Sales & Distribution systems
-
Conduct regular training interventions for continuous skill development
-
Manage recruitment of FSAs as per required timelines
📋 Administration

Ensure timely submission of trade claims, distributor reports, and competitor insights

Coordinate with CFA (Carrying & Forwarding Agent) and distributors for smooth operations

Ensure adherence to Primary Distribution Plan (PDP) and delivery schedules

🎓 Eligibility & Experience

Graduate in any discipline (MBA preferred)
