View Behavioral Health (VBH) Child, is a behavioral health campus providing acute psychiatric care and crisis stabilization services. Our Child & Adolescent program offers a safe, structured environment focused on stabilization, evidence-based treatment, and family-centered care. As we expand, the campus will include adult services, supporting a full continuum of care for the communities we serve.
Position Summary
The Director of Nursing provides strategic and operational leadership for all nursing services across the Colton campus, including both the Child & Adolescent facility and the adult unit upon opening. This role is responsible for nursing operations, compliance, quality assurance, infection prevention, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all nursing operations across both facilities
- Ensure compliance with licensing requirements, infection control standards, and patient safety protocols
- Lead quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
- Partner with Medical Director on clinical initiatives and regulatory readiness
- Oversee medication management processes and nursing documentation standards
- Develop staffing models, schedules, and workforce plans aligned with census growth
- Manage and mentor nursing leadership, including House Supervisors and Charge Nurses
- Serve as a key leader in survey readiness for DHCS and Joint Commission
- Identifyand resolve system issues within the EHRimpactingclinical workflows
- Lead policy development and implementation for nursing services
