Ocean Infinity is seeking a motivated and innovative UX Researcher, with a specialisation in Service Design. The Service Designer will work collaboratively to design and implement new services and improve existing ones. This role is crucial in shaping and optimising the end-to-end service experience for users, ensuring alignment with business goals and operational capabilities.


This position requires a blend of user research, journey mapping, prototyping, and stakeholder collaboration to design seamless and effective services. The Service Designer will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product and Solution Managers, UX and Product Designers, and Developers, to ensure service solutions are intuitive, efficient, and scalable while fostering a user-centered approach across the organization.


What will you do:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute growth initiatives;
  • Support service design, applying human-centred design methodologies to uncover pain points and opportunities across user journeys;
  • Advocate for user needs through user research and usability activities;
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research, including user interviews, workshops, and usability tests, to gather insights and validate service concepts;
  • Develop and prototype service blueprints, process flows, and interaction models to visualize and refine service experiences;
  • Stay updated with emerging trends, tools, and techniques in service design and integrate them into the team’s workflow where relevant;
  • Develop relationships with global stakeholders and ensure cohesive product experiences


Who you are:

  • 5+ years of UX Research experience, demonstrating proficiency and autonomy in planning, executing and analysing research activities;
  • Experience participating in the complete product development lifecycle of web and/or software applications;
  • Exceptional ability to deliver design solutions that grow the business area and create new value for members/customers;
  • Thoughtful, thorough and conscientious;
  • Ability to take ownership and engagement in the work;
  • Ability to work as a trusted advisor with senior stakeholders;
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Driven, proactive and able to work autonomously with little supervision towards the company's purpose;
  • Critical thinking and ability to show initiative;

  • Figma;
  • Jira/Confluence.

Salary for this position: Up to €55,000 per annum


Salary: The salary varies for this position as we are recruiting in multiple regional locations and job grades. The salary process is based on skills, abilities, and experience required.
