Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Occupational Therapist at our facility in Perintalmanna. The Occupational Therapist will work directly with children, assessing their individual needs and implementing tailored therapy plans aimed at enhancing their physical, cognitive, and emotional development. Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, developing intervention strategies, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with parents and caregivers to ensure consistent progress. The role also involves working closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care for children with special needs.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation techniques
- Knowledge of Pediatrics and child development principles
- Strong Communication skills to collaborate effectively with families and team members
- Familiarity with medical concepts related to therapy for children with special needs
- Ability to implement strategies that foster developmental progress and independence for children
- Relevant certifications or licensure in Occupational Therapy
- Experience working with children with special needs is a strong advantage
- Empathy, patience, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
