Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Occupational Therapist role based in Goregaon. The Occupational Therapist will assess individuals’ physical, sensory, cognitive, and emotional needs, and design therapy plans that support independence in daily living, education, and work-related activities. The role involves conducting one-on-one and group therapy sessions, using evidence-based interventions and adaptive techniques to support functional improvement and quality of life. The Occupational Therapist will collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans, monitor progress, and adjust interventions as needed. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate documentation, participating in interdisciplinary meetings, and contributing to awareness and training programs aligned with the Society’s values of inclusion and holistic development.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation, including assessment, treatment planning, and implementation of therapeutic interventions.
- Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Medicine relevant to occupational therapy practice, including understanding of physical and neurological conditions.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for interacting with clients, families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams in a clear and empathetic manner.
- Candidates should possess competencies in working with Pediatrics, including experience supporting children with developmental, sensory, or learning challenges.
- Relevant qualifications such as a degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution and appropriate licensure or registration, where applicable.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment, with sensitivity to diverse cultural and social backgrounds.
- Strong documentation and time-management skills, and openness to integrating holistic and person-centered approaches in therapy.
- Previous experience in clinical, educational, or community-based settings is an advantage.
