Company Description Resplice Autism Research Institute is dedicated to advancing autism research with a focus on prevention, early intervention, and evidence-based therapies. Role Description The Occupational Therapist will provide individualized, evidence-based occupational therapy services to children with autism in the Greater Hyderabad Area. This full-time, on-site role involves assessing sensory, motor, cognitive, and daily living skills; developing personalized treatment plans; and implementing therapy sessions focused on functional independence and participation. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, documenting progress, updating care plans, and participating in case conferences. The Occupational Therapist will also educate families and caregivers on home-based strategies, contribute to research-informed practices, and support program development aligned with the institute’s mission.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation, with a strong focus on pediatric populations.
- Foundational understanding of Medicine and Pediatrics relevant to autism, developmental disorders, and child health.
- Strong Communication skills for interacting with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams, including clear documentation and reporting.
- Recognized degree in Occupational Therapy (Bachelor’s or Master’s) from an accredited institution; valid professional registration or license as applicable.
- Experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities in clinical, school, or community settings.
- Ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans, apply sensory integration principles, and use standardized assessment tools.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous learning, and participation in research or quality improvement initiatives.
- Capacity to work on-site full time in the Greater Hyderabad Area, with cultural sensitivity and respect for diverse families.
