Role Description
The Occupational Therapist will play a key role in providing therapy services to pediatric and other patients to improve their quality of life and overall well-being. Responsibilities include evaluating patients’ needs, developing and implementing customized treatment plans, and providing rehabilitation services in coordination with the healthcare team. The therapist will also communicate progress with caregivers and contribute to the hospital’s commitment to exceptional patient care. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Nagercoil.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Occupational Therapy, with a focus on designing and delivering therapy plans
- Knowledge and application of Rehabilitation techniques for patient recovery and improvement
- Familiarity with Pediatrics and addressing specific developmental needs of children
- Strong Communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Background in Medicine or related healthcare disciplines is preferred
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Relevant licensure or certification as required
- Proactive attitude with a strong commitment to patient-centered care
