Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Occupational Therapist role based in Bengaluru. The Occupational Therapist will assess children with developmental disorders to identify sensory, motor, cognitive, and self-care needs, and will develop individualized intervention plans. Daily responsibilities include providing therapy sessions, documenting progress, updating treatment plans, and collaborating with other professionals in the multidisciplinary team. The role involves educating and guiding parents and caregivers on home-based strategies and follow-up activities to support generalization of skills. The Occupational Therapist will also participate in case discussions, maintain accurate clinical records, and contribute to continuous improvement of intervention protocols.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation, with experience in pediatric clients preferred.
- Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Pediatrics and Medicine relevant to developmental disorders and child health.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills for working with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution; appropriate registration or licensure as required.
- Experience working with children with autism, ADHD, intellectual disability, or related developmental conditions is highly beneficial.
- Ability to develop individualized treatment plans, use standardized assessments, and document clinical outcomes clearly and accurately.
- Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and a collaborative approach to family-centered and team-based care.
- Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development and adopt evidence-based, innovative intervention methods.
