Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Bengaluru for an Occupational Therapist. The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for assessing and addressing the developmental, physical, sensory, and cognitive challenges faced by children with developmental disorders. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and implementing individualized therapy plans, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, guiding parents on therapeutic techniques, and tracking progress to ensure effective intervention. The role also involves using innovative strategies to promote skill development in children and supporting their overall well-being.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Occupational Therapy techniques and practices.
- Knowledge of rehabilitation strategies and principles in pediatric care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with children and collaborate with parents and team members.
- Experience or interest in working with children with developmental disorders such as autism, ADHD, or intellectual disabilities.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field.
- Professional licensing or certification in Occupational Therapy (as applicable by region).
- Passion for child development and a patient-centered approach to therapy.
- Previous hands-on pediatric therapy experience is a plus.
