Role Description

Almas Hospital is seeking a full-time, on-site Occupational Therapist to join our team in Kottakkal. The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for assessing patients' needs, creating individualized treatment plans, and providing therapy to help patients regain or improve their functional abilities. Daily tasks include collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, maintaining patient records, and providing guidance to patients and their families. The role also involves working with both pediatric and adult patients in rehabilitation and functional improvement programs.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in Occupational Therapy practices, with the ability to deliver therapy tailored to individual patient needs
• Knowledge of Medicine and Rehabilitation approaches, particularly in a healthcare or hospital setting
• Strong Communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Experience or specialization in Pediatrics is highly desirable
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field
• Current licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist
• Empathy, patience, and a commitment to delivering quality care
