Key Details of the Job:

Position           : Observability SRE (Senior Level)

Designation  : Observability Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

Experience    : 8 - 12 Years

Location         : Remote

Timings           : 2PM - 11PM IST

Job Type         : Contractor

Start Date      : ASAP (Immediate Joiners are preferable)

Primary Skills : well versed with Strong scripting (Python/Bash), Splunk, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana.

Brief About the Role

The Senior Observability SRE designs and manages enterprise monitoring, logging, and reliability frameworks to ensure high system availability and performance. This role leads proactive detection strategies, incident analysis, SLO design, and automation-driven remediation initiatives. The engineer partners with DevOps and application teams to reduce downtime, improve MTTR, and enhance service resilience.

Required Skills & Experience

Key Responsibilities

•               Design monitoring and alerting frameworks

•               Build dashboards and KPIs

•               Conduct root cause analysis

•               Implement automation for remediation

•               Improve system reliability metrics (SLIs/SLOs)

•               Collaborate with DevOps teams

Qualifications

•               10 years SRE/DevOps experience

•               Strong scripting (Python/Bash)

•               Experience with Splunk, Datadog, Prometheus, or similar

•     Need someone who has a good grasp of what's available in the market, Grafana only visualization tool. need to develop an org stategy

•      Architect our enterprise observability strategy from scratch (not migrate existing tools)

•      Evaluate and conduct POC's for commercial platforms like Dynatrace, Datadog etc

•      Design reference architecures, maturity models and strategic frameworks

•      Lead implmenration with smooth roolout across our envrironments

·      Ability to work independently in a remote/distributed team

•        Ability to work in agile, fast‑paced cloud projects

·      Proactive attitude with ownership and accountability
