In this role, you will manage and enhance a central monitoring and alerting (AIOps) platform integrating Core IS services within a complex, globally distributed IT environment.
The position requires deep technical understanding of hosting, networking, applications, integration practices, and IT operations best practices.
You will work closely with global stakeholders, including IS Process Owners, IS Service Owners, Service Managers, Observability Framework Leads, and Managed Service Providers. This is an opportunity to contribute to a global Observability platform within a high-performing engineering team.
Your tasks
- Managing development, support, and configuration of the central AIOps platform (APEX)
- Configuring and managing inbound integrations from monitoring sources (e.g., Dynatrace, Checkmk, cloud-native tools)
- Managing outbound integrations with platforms such as ServiceNow, Snowflake, and Blue Prism
- Providing L3 support for complex technical issues
- Continuously improving and expanding core platform capabilities
- Driving proactive event management and operational process improvements
- Collaborating with internal teams and third-party service providers
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar position
- Deep technical understanding of distributed and connected enterprise environments
- Experience managing monitoring/observability platforms
- Strong scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Python, or similar)
- Previous work with Windows and Linux operating systems
- Solid understanding of infrastructure and application architecture
- Deep knowledge of container orchestration services
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps principles
Nice to have
- ITIL 4 Foundation certification
- Experience in global enterprise environments
- Exposure to large-scale monitoring and observability frameworks
