Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include
- Draw (by hand or digital) to-scale models of furniture items such as beds, dining tables, chairs, etc.
- Make the scale models using slim solid wood sheets to replicate the designs in physical form.
Note: The scale models will need to be glued, sanded, and finished for photography use. A power tool (scroll saw) will be provided, and training is given on power tools and hand tools. All other tools required will also be provided.
About Company: Permanent Objects is a woodworking studio that creates custom furniture, and sculptures and displays objects for those who value craftsmanship and the artisanal qualities of items they spend money on.
