About the Role

OB Hospitalist Group (OBHG) is seeking a motivated and results-driven Lead Generation Specialist to join our growing Obtelecare Telehealth Services team. This position plays a critical role in driving business growth by generating and qualifying new leads, building relationships with hospitals, physician groups, and healthcare organizations, and scheduling meetings that convert to viable business opportunities.

As the frontline of OBHG’s telehealth business development efforts, you’ll engage in high-volume outreach to uncover needs in the market, promote OBHG’s Obtelecare virtual OB/GYN solutions, and create meaningful connections that advance the company’s mission to improve access to women’s healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

 Business Development and Prospecting

  • Conduct high-volume outbound calls and digital outreach to hospitals, FQHCs, physician groups, and other healthcare organizations to identify opportunities.
  • Qualify and hand off viable leads to the Director of Business Development for continued engagement and proposal advancement.
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly targets for initial meetings and new opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Business Development teams to design and execute targeted outreach campaigns.
  • Refine messaging and communication cadence to increase engagement and conversion.
  • Manage and maintain lead data integrity in Microsoft Dynamics CRM, ensuring up-to-date and accurate records.
  • Build brand awareness and keep OBHG and Obtelecare top of mind with healthcare decision-makers.

 Industry Knowledge and Learning

  • Develop a strong understanding of OB/GYN hospitalist services, telehealth models, and the healthcare delivery landscape.
  • Gain deep product knowledge of OBHG’s value proposition, Obtelecare offerings, and competitive market positioning.
  • Participate in ongoing sales enablement, training sessions, and industry education opportunities to stay informed about trends and regulations.

 Professionalism and Team Collaboration

  • Uphold OBHG’s Mission, Vision, and Core Values in all interactions.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, enthusiasm, and a high level of energy in representing the company to external partners.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, and Business Development to align outreach strategy with growth objectives.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

 Qualifications: Required:

  • Proven success in lead generation, cold calling, or appointment setting (high-volume outreach environment).
  • Experience using CRM platforms (Microsoft Dynamics preferred).
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; able to build rapport quickly over the phone.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated with a strong sense of accountability.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to overcome objections and maintain resilience in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience developing or executing email marketing campaigns.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and CRM reporting tools.

Preferred:

  • Experience in healthcare sales, telehealth, or hospital business development.
  • Familiarity with OB/GYN service lines or hospital contracting processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or related field.

 Physical & Travel Demands:

  • Frequent computer and phone use
  • Occasional travel to corporate events or partner sites.
