We are expanding our practice and looking for a functional expert with deep roots in retail planning to join our dynamic team.
The Role:
As a Functional Consultant specializing in Retail Supply Chain Planning, you will be the crucial link between business requirements and technical implementation. You will work directly with our retail clients to analyze their planning processes, design future-state workflows, and guide the configuration of advanced planning platforms. While hands-on experience with o9 Solutions is highly desirable, your core value will come from your deep understanding of retail supply chain dynamics.
Key Responsibilities:
• Business Process Consulting: Lead workshops to gather business requirements, analyze existing retail planning workflows, and design optimized future-state processes.
• Solution Design: Translate complex retail business needs (Demand Planning, Merchandise Planning, Allocation, Replenishment) into actionable functional specifications for the technical team.
• Client Advisory: Act as a trusted advisor to retail clients, guiding them on supply chain best practices and platform adoption.
• Implementation Support: Collaborate with technical consultants, developers, and project managers (including partner teams at o9) to ensure the solution is built according to business requirements.
• Testing & Training: Drive User Acceptance Testing (UAT) execution, validate functional outputs, and lead training sessions for client end-users.
What We’re Looking For:
• 2+ years of functional experience in Retail Supply Chain Planning (e.g., Demand Planning, Merchandise/Assortment Planning, Inventory Optimization, or Replenishment).
• Experience working as a consultant, business analyst, or power user on supply chain software implementations.
• o9 Solutions experience is highly preferred, but strong experience with other enterprise planning platforms (e.g., SAP IBP, Blue Yonder, Oracle, Kinaxis) combined with an aptitude to learn o9 quickly is completely acceptable.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate "business speak" into "tech speak" and vice versa.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, capable of managing complex data and planning variables.
