- Build strong relationships with local businesses, commercial and fleet clients
- Strong consultation skills to understand clients needs & offer customizable vehicle solutions
- Drive commercial vehicle sales to meet and exceed goals
- Collaborate with service & fleet maintenance teams to provide full lifecycle client support
- Stay up to date on new products, vehicle technology, and upfitting options
- Manage a personal client portfolio with follow-up systems that create repeat and referral business
- Represent the O.C. Welch Ford Lincoln, with professionalism, integrity, and a customer-first mindset
- Conduct outbound sales calls and follow-up on leads to drive sales
- Present proposals to municipalities, city government and business owners, when necessary
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to close a sale and enhance customer satisfaction
- Be able to work in a team environment
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
- Previous B2B experience preferred
- Proven track record in automotive, fleet, or commercial vehicle sales.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
- High level of self-motivation and goal orientated
- Ability to manage your pipeline, prospect new business, and close deals
- Product knowledge of commercial vehicles and upfits preferred, not necessary.
