O&M Manager: Solar Ground-Mounted Project

Role Overview
RenewX InfraTech is hiring a dynamic and technically strong O&M Manager to support operations and maintenance of multiple ground-mounted solar PV sites. This role is focused on execution, coordination, and performance monitoring across a cluster of solar plants.
The candidate will work closely with senior leadership to ensure high plant availability, efficient operations, and adherence to O&M standards across all assigned sites.
Key Responsibilities
Multi-Site Coordination
- Support O&M activities across multiple solar sites within a defined region or cluster
- Coordinate with site engineers and technicians for daily operations
- Ensure standardized processes and reporting across sites
- Travel to project locations for inspections, audits, and issue resolution
Plant Performance Monitoring
- Track daily generation, PR, CUF, and plant availability
- Identify underperformance and initiate corrective actions
- Support energy loss analysis and performance improvement initiatives
Maintenance Execution
- Supervise preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities
- Assist in troubleshooting of modules, inverters, transformers, and HT/LT systems
- Ensure timely fault resolution and minimal downtime
Reporting and Documentation
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports
- Monitor SCADA systems and highlight deviations
- Maintain maintenance logs, incident reports, and compliance records
Team and Vendor Coordination
- Coordinate with internal teams, EPC contractors, and service vendors
- Support manpower planning and daily task execution
- Ensure timely vendor response and service quality
Compliance and Safety
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and operational procedures
- Support implementation of HSE practices across all sites
- Participate in safety audits and reporting
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- 3–5 years of experience in solar PV O&M (ground-mounted preferred)
- Understanding of SCADA systems and solar performance parameters
- Knowledge of inverters, HT/LT systems, and balance of system components
- Willingness to travel frequently across sites
- Strong coordination, reporting, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience handling multiple sites or cluster-level operations
- Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools
- Basic knowledge of grid compliance and safety standards
