About the role

This IT leadership role oversees the entire technology landscape, combining strategic planning with hands-on infrastructure management to ensure operational efficiency, security, and staff development. Key responsibilities include creating technology roadmaps, managing IT budgets and vendors, and ensuring compliance through robust cybersecurity measures

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Develop IT roadmaps, policies, and procedures to support organizational goals.
Infrastructure Management: Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of server-based computing, network operations, and data systems.
Team Leadership: Hire, train, mentor, and coach IT staff to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Project Management: Direct large-scale IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and align with security requirements.
Vendor and Budget Management: Manage financial resources, vendor contracts, and license renewals, including spending optimization.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

Experience: Proven experience in IT management of 5–10 years minimum, with demonstrated leadership in technical projects.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of ERP systems, Sequencing and MES systems, network infrastructure, and Microsoft products.
Certifications: Common certifications include PMP (Project Management Professional), ITIL (IT Service Management), or relevant vendor certifications.
Leadership: Excellent coaching, communication, and decision-making abilities.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or commensurate work experience.

Problem-Solving: Highly skilled at solving complex technical issues and managing risk.
