Career Development Services

The NYU Shanghai Center for Career Development (CCD) provides comprehensive career guidance to the student body. We collaborate with employers, alumni, and organizations to provide a range of resources and opportunities for students to achieve personal and professional success. We help students explore strengths, interests and skills, and how they best intersect with specific career paths. Taking inventory of who you are before making a career decision increases the likelihood of choosing a satisfying career path. Once student gets admitted, we will have full access of StrengthsFinder and CareerLeader. Our career coach will conduct personalized coaching based on your strengths and interests. The CCD develops Career- Readiness Development Program (CRDP) for master students which offers students a good number of workshops to enhance their competencies and industry knowledge such as critical thinking/problem solving, oral/written communications, professionalism/work ethic, career management, global/intercultural fluency and industry insight sharing. Graduates of the MS programs will be well-positioned for employment opportunities from a variety of industries such as Financial Services, Consulting, Technology, Healthcare, Entertainment/Media and Non-Profit. The CCD is dedicated to maintaining strong relationships with companies across industries and continuously expanding recruiting options for students, such as On- Campus Recruitment Programs, Career Fairs, Company On-Site Visit & Open Day. We are also committed to offer opportunities for students to network with NYU Alumni and professionals in Asia.
